When looking for a place to stay in Punta Cana, a map of all the all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana might come in handy to see the location of each hotel. This gives you a better feeling about how far it is to the neighboring resorts, to the main road, to the Punta Cana airport or to Punta Canas’ beaches. However, Google Maps might not completely help in this case. Therefore, we have created a couple of Punta Cana maps for all hotel areas in the Dominican Republic’s most favorite tourism destination to make it easier to locate your resort. In this article, you’ll find a map of Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Cabeza de Toro, Bavaro, Arena Gorda, Macao, Uvero Alto, Miches/Playa Esmeralda and Bayahibe all with the locations of each hotel creating the most detailed map of Punta Cana’s Resorts.

If you are looking for a map of Punta Canas’ beaches, you can find it here.
A Punta Cana Map of the entire area – the overview
Let’s start with a Punta Cana map of the entire area. With over 100 all-inclusive resorts in 9 hotel areas, Punta Cana is the Dominican Republic’s most important tourism destination. Sometimes it is hard to know where each accommodation is located on the map, what it is surrounded by and how far it is to other places, for example, Punta Cana International Airport.
Therefore, it is recommendable to first have a look at the following Punta Cana map, where you can see the different areas of where the all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana are located.
Punta Cana can be roughly divided into 9 areas:
- Cap Cana
- Punta Cana
- Cabeza de Toro
- Bavaro
- Arena Gorda
- Macao
- Uvero Alto
- Miches / Playa Esmeralda
- Bayahibe
Cap Cana is a gated community with exclusively luxurious villas and high-end hotels. It is the newest part of Punta Cana, with a lot of areas yet needed to be developed.
The actual part of Punta Cana is just a small village constructed in the recent 10-20 years. With Puntacana Resort and Club Med, there are just a few resorts and villas. Punta Cana Village is also right next to Punta Cana International Airport.
Cabeza de Toro is a tiny area north of Punta Cana Village with 7-8 all-inclusive resorts. There is not much around besides these accommodations.
Bavaro is the hotspot of Punta Cana’s all-inclusive resorts. It features most accommodation including apartments or small guesthouses, is home to the famous and beautiful Bavaro Beach and hosts a couple of beach clubs and beachfront restaurants. It is the most active area of Punta Cana.
Arena Gorda is directly adjoining Bavaro Beach (or, depending on the definition, it is part of it), with another array of more than two dozen Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts (which you all can see on the Punta Cana maps below). There are no public access points.
North of Arena Gorda is Macao, an area popular among locals and with a fantastic beach, Macao Beach. So far, Macao only features one all-inclusive resort, Dreams Macao Beach, but two more are currently under construction or in the planning stage.
The northernmost part of the immediate Punta Cana area – already around 25 miles away from the airport – is Uvero Alto. Here you can find a dozen resorts scattered along the beach, but not much else.
However, there is one area even further north, which is the newly developed region around Miches and Playa Costa Esmeralda. So far, this is a unique place to be in the Dominican Republic – read more about it below or in our Temptation Miches review. We have created a map for this hotel area as well.
And, last but not least, there is Bayahibe with another 10 all-inclusive resorts. Bayahibe is just an hour away from Punta Cana International Airport and therefore a great alternative if you’d like to spend your vacation on the Caribbean side of the Dominican Republic.
Check out this article about the geography of Punta Cana to find out more differences between Uvero Alto, Bavaro, Cabeza de Toro and Cap Cana.
If you are right now in the process of deciding which accommodation to book, you can also continue reading here with the most comprehensive guide on what is the best all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana.

Cap Cana Map: the hotels of Cap Cana on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Let’s start with the maps of Punta Canas’ resorts and first head to the most southern area of Punta Cana: Cap Cana.
This exclusive community houses plenty of stunning luxury villas and super-exclusive resorts. Together with the Punta Cana map, the Cap Cana map is the only one where we have added a few selected non-all-inclusive resorts as well, as they are often asked for and are very popular (particularly Eden Roc Cap Cana*).
As you can see on the following Cap Cana map, the resorts in Cap Cana are well-spread out. There isn’t a particular area with a lot of all-inclusive resorts, most hotels here are dotted in between golf courses and luxury villas.
The Cap Cana map includes the following hotels and all-inclusive resorts:
- C1 Eden Roc Cap Cana
- C2 The St. Regis Cap Cana (under construction)
- C3 Golden Bear Lodge
- C4 Sanctuary Cap Cana
- C5 Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana
- C6 Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana
- C7 Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana
- C8 Secrets Cap Cana
- C9 TRS Cap Cana
- C10 Fishing Lodge Cap Cana
- C11 Sports Illustrated Resort Cap Cana
Eden Roc Cap Cana, Golden Bear Lodge and Fishing Lodge Cap Cana are not all-inclusive resorts.
Eden Roc Cap Cana seems like a particularly large hotel on the map, but this is due to the resort being very spread out, with some of the villas being located in privacy next to the golf course and the beach club being a little bit further away. In total, Eden Roc only features 64 suites and villas.
Punta Cana Map: the hotels of Punta Cana on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
When people are usually talking about Punta Cana they are referring to the entire area in the east of the Dominican Republic, which is covered in this article about the maps of Punta Canas’ resorts. However, there is also a part that can be called “Punta Cana proper” or, to use the local name, Punta Cana Village. It is the business district of Punta Cana right south of the international airport and features golf courses, luxury villas and boutique resorts along the coastline.
As you can see on this Punta Cana hotel map, there are just three major hotels in this area, which makes it particularly exclusive. Only one of those (Club Med Punta Cana) is an all-inclusive resort.
The Punta Cana hotel map includes the following accommodation. Among them, just Club Med Punta Cana is an all-inclusive resort:
- P1 Tortuga Bay Hotel
- P2 The Westin Puntacana Resort
- P3 Club Med Punta Cana
Cabeza de Toro Map: the hotels of Cabeza de Toro on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
As mentioned earlier, Cabeza de Toro is not much more than an agglomeration of a bit more than a handful of all-inclusive resorts, particularly in the mid-price segment. As you can see on the Punta Cana resort map below, Cabeza de Toro is pretty small, hence all all-inclusive resorts are easily walkable along the beach.
The Cabeza de Toro hotel map includes the following all-inclusive resorts:
- T1 Catalonia Royal Bavaro
- T2 Catalonia Bavaro Beach and Catalonia Punta Cana
- T3 Serenade Punta Cana
- T4 Serenade All Suites Resort (under construction)
- T5 Blue Beach Punta Cana Luxury Resort
- T6 Sunscape Coco Punta Cana (opens early 2024)
- T7 Jewel Palm Beach
- T8 Dreams Flora Resort
There was a lot of movement in this area and there are a lot of new names on the Cabeza de Toro map in Punta Cana. Serenade Punta Cana is constructing a second resort right next door (Serenade All Suites Resort) which is due to open at some point in 2024. Radisson Blu rebranded to Blue Beach Punta Cana Luxury Resort and Be Live Punta Cana withdrew from the Dominican Republic’s resort map and will reopen in early 2024 as Sunscape Coco Punta Cana – after the full renovations have been finished. Natura Park Punta Cana also was completely renovated and reopened as Dreams Flora Resort Punta Cana.
Bavaro Map: the hotels of Bavaro on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Going further north from Punta Cana Village and Cabeza de Toro, you arrive at the vibrant center of Punta Canas’ all-inclusive resorts: Bavaro. The packed map of Punta Cana resorts already shows how many hotels you can expect here.
But why is this area of Punta Cana so popular?
First of all, Bavaro Beach is what can easily be considered one of the most beautiful and longest beaches in Punta Cana. For more information, check out the separate article about Bavaro Beach.
Second, when staying at one of the all-inclusive resorts marked in the Bavaro hotel map, you still have access to Dominican life, as they are not as remote as other accommodation in Uvero Alto or Cap Cana.
Furthermore, Bavaro features all kinds of different Punta Cana hotels. You have some of the most affordable all-inclusive resorts in this area, such as Impressive Punta Cana or Vista Sol Punta Cana, but you can also splurge and book yourself a vacation at Secrets Royal Beach or Paradisus Palma Real. All of them are located in the Bavaro area, as you can see at this Punta Cana hotel map.
The Bavaro hotel map includes the following Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts:
- B1 Barcelo Bavaro Palace
- B2 Barcelo Bavaro Beach
- B3 Lopesan Costa Bavaro
- B4 Melía Punta Cana Beach Resort
- B5 Melía Caribe Beach Resort
- B6 Paradisus Palma Real
- B7 Garden Suites by Melia
- B8 Falcon’s Resort by Melia
- B9 Dreams Royal Beach
- B10 Secrets Royal Beach
- B11 whala Bavaro
- B12 Impressive Punta Cana and Impressive Premium Punta Cana
- B13 Vista Sol Punta Cana
- B14 TRS Turquesa
- B15 Grand Palladium Palace
- B16 Grand Palladium Punta Cana
- B17 Grand Palladium Bavaro Suites
- B18 Occidental Punta Cana
- B19 Grand Bavaro Princess
- B20 Princess Family Club Bavaro
- B21 Paradisus Punta Cana (under renovation)
- B22 The Reserve at Paradisus Punta Cana (under renovation)
- B23 Caribe Deluxe Princess
- B24 Tropical Deluxe Princess
- B25 Punta Cana Princess All Suites
- B26 VIK Arena Blanca + VIK Cayena Beach
- B27 Ocean Blue & Sands
Arena Gorda Map: the hotels of Arena Gorda on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
There is no set definition if Arena Gorda is still part of Bavaro or if it shall be considered to be a separate area of Punta Cana. However, it is a matter of fact that Arena Gorda directly borders Bavaro and that the beach of both areas is one extremely long continuous stretch of 12 miles of finest sand. Furthermore, Arena Gorda has nearly as many all-inclusive resorts as Bavaro, summing up to more than 50, which would make it impossible to add them all on one map of Punta Canas’ resorts.
Arena Gorda has a similar selection of all-inclusive resorts to Bavaro. You can choose among cheap all-inclusive resorts, such as Occidental Caribe or Caribe Deluxe Princess, family resort favorites such as Royalton Punta Cana or RIU with its fantastic water parks in Punta Cana, or high-quality hotels such as Iberostar Grand or Hard Rock Punta Cana. The only hotel currently built here is Moon Palace Punta Cana, which is supposed to open in 2024 or 2025 (currently scheduled for fall 2024).
The Arena Gorda resort map includes the following Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts:
- A1 Iberostar Grand
- A2 Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites (incl. Coral Level)
- A3 Iberostar Dominicana
- A4 Iberostar Punta Cana
- A5 RIU Palace Bavaro
- A6 RIU Naiboa
- A7 RIU Palace Macao
- A8 RIU Bambu
- A9 RIU Palace Punta Cana
- A10 Bahía Principe Fantasía Punta Cana
- A11 Luxury Bahía Principe Esmeralda
- A12 Grand Bahía Principe Punta Cana
- A13 Grand Bahía Principe Bavaro
- A14 Luxury Bahía Principe Ambar
- A15 Grand Bahía Principe Aquamarine
- A16 Grand Bahía Principe Turquesa
- A17 Royalton Bavaro
- A18 Majestic Mirage
- A19 Majestic Elegance
- A20 Majestic Colonial
- A21 Royalton Punta Cana
- A22 Royalton Splash
- A23 Occidental Caribe
- A24 RIU República
- A25 Hard Rock Punta Cana
- A26 Moon Palace Punta Cana (under construction)
Macao Map: the hotels of Macao on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Macao is the only area in Punta Cana where a Punta Cana resort map is not necessary – there is just one all-inclusive resort in Macao. 🙂
Dreams Macao Beach so far is the only resort on this beautiful beach (besides a private boutique hotel called Selectum Hacienda Punta Cana*), so it is easy to locate it and doesn’t need a resort map.
However, this is going to change soon. Ritz Carlton has announced the opening of 2 hotels in Macao, which are probably called Ritz Carlton Punta Cana All Access and Luxury Collection Punta Cana. As construction barely has started, I suppose that they will not open before 2025. As soon as I know the exact location of these resorts, I will add a Punta Cana hotel map for Macao Beach as well.
Uvero Alto Map: the hotels of Uvero Alto on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Uvero Alto is the most northern area of Punta Cana’s hotel zone and features around a dozen properties scattered along Uvero Alto beach. You can see the locations of each hotel below on the Uvero Alto map of Punta Cana resorts, which is dominated by popular family resorts (Grand Sirenis, Nickelodeon, etc.) and high-end boutique resorts (Excellence, Zoetry, Live Aqua, etc.). As you can see on the Uvero Alto map, the area is quite widespread, so in between the resorts you often find pristine sections of beach and beautiful wild nature.
The Uvero Alto resort map includes the following Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts:
- U1 Ocean El Faro
- U2 Ocean El Faro – El Beso
- U3 Royalton CHIC
- U4 Nickelodeon Punta Cana
- U5 Jewel Punta Cana
- U6 Live Aqua Punta Cana
- U7 Dreams Onyx Punta Cana
- U8 Breathless Punta Cana
- U9 Secret Tides Punta Cana (under construction)
- U10 Finest Punta Cana
- U11 Excellence El Carmen
- U12 Grand Sirenis Punta Cana
- U13 Excellence Punta Cana
U14 W Hotel Punta Cana (under construction) - U15 Zoetry Agua Punta Cana
- U16 Le Sivory by PortBlue (currently closed)
As you can see in the resort map of Uvero Alto, this area is still expanding. Currently, two new resorts are being built (W Hotel Punta Cana & Secret Tides Punta Cana) and one can expect that further resorts are about to be announced throughout 2024.
Miches Map: the hotels of Miches and Playa Esmeralda on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Miches and Playa Esmeralda are the new shooting stars on the Dominican Republic’s resort map. The first hotel in this area just opened in 2020 (Club Med Miches*) and currently (as of September 2023) there is a total of three resorts open in this area: Club Med Miches*, Temptation Miches Resort and Temptation Grand Miches Resort.
The Dominican government and the National Tourism Ministry have big plans for this area and it can be expected that many more resorts are opening in the next decade. For the upcoming 1-2 years, 4 more resorts are planned so far: Viva Miches by Wyndham Resort, Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort – Curio Collection by Hilton, Secrets Playa Esmeralda and Dreams Playa Esmeralda. You can find all these hotels on the resort map below.
It is not a big surprise that the government in cooperation with international hotel brands and investors is starting to develop this area. Many of Punta Canas’ natural attractions are in this area (especially Montaña Redonda, Los Haitises National Park, Bay of Samaná, whale-watching in the Dominican Republic, Salto de la Jalda) and Playa Esmeralda is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Stay tuned for much more news regarding this area!
The Miches and Playa Esmeralda resort map includes the following Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts:
- E1 Temptation Miches Resort
- E2 Temptation Grand Miches Resort
- E3 Viva Miches by Wyndham (under construction)
- E4 Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort – Curio Collection by Hilton (under construction)
- E5 Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda
- E6 Secrets Playa Esmeralda (under construction)
- E7 Dreams Playa Esmeralda (under construction)
Bayahibe Map: the hotels of Bayahibe on the map of Punta Canas’ resorts
Bayahibe is – similar to Miches / Costa Esmeralda – another area which is approx. 1 hour away from Punta Cana, but still can be counted as a destination within the greater Punta Cana area. Punta Cana International Airport is the closest airport to Bayahibe and there are around 10 all-inclusive resorts in Bayahibe, hence it is not much different than Uvero Alto for example. If you check the map of Bayahibes’ resorts, you will see that most of them are congregated around Dominicus Beach and just the two Hilton La Romana resorts are located right at Bayahibe Beach. For further information about Bayahibe, you can check our comprehensive Bayahibe Travel Guide or the Bayahibe resort summary.
The news for 2023 and 2024 at this part of Punta Cana’s resort map is the rebranding of whala Bayahibe to HM Alma de Bayahibe and the complete renovation (and rebranding) from Be Live Canoa to Sunscape Dominicus.
The Bayahibe resort map includes the following Bayahibe all-inclusive resorts:
- Y1 Hilton La Romana Family
- Y2 Hilton La Romana Adults Only
- Y3 HM Alma de Bayahibe
- Y4 Viva Dominicus Beach by Wyndham
- Y5 Viva Dominicus Palace by Wyndham
- Y6 Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus
- Y7 Catalonia Bayahibe
- Y8 Catalonia Royal La Romana
- Y9 Dreams Dominicus
- Y10 Sunscape Dominicus (under renovation)

What happened to the Alsol Resorts ? There were 3 different resorts a couple of years ago?
Name change?
Hey Dorothy,
yes, there were a couple of AlSol Resorts some time ago, I think it has been even 4 of them.
AlSol del Mar is a condo property now, the apartments are rented out on Airbnb and Vrbo. You can see them here, they are mentioned and presented in this article: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/best-airbnbs-in-punta-cana/
Parts of AlSol Tiara and AlSol Luxury Village are now Ancora Cap Cana and TRS Cap Cana.
Cheers from Punta Cana
Chris
What happened to Le Sivory? is it likely to open again?
Hi Louise,
no, Le Sivory Punta Cana is most likely not going to open again. There was an official communication in 2020 that they won’t open again due to Covid-19 in Punta Cana.
I guess the only scenario would be that they open in 2023 or later under new management and new brand.
Chris
Hi Chris, Thankyou so much for sharing all the information here – gives such a good insight versus how the properties market themselves.
Wondering if you can recommend which of the Bahia properties are newer/modern and ADULT friendly ? I am single woman with slight mobility issues (can’t walk a lot so prefer easy access to a beach cabana and looking to do a budget all inclusive travel to DR and don’t want to get stuck in an old musty distant property. Your help would be super appreciated. Incase you can recommend a travel agent or website whereby I can book my flight and hotel then that would be a BONUS in caps. Thankyou so much again for this website.
Hi Priti,
thanks for your comment, great that the information on Punta Cana Travel Blog are helpful for you.
With regard to the Bahía Resort, the Bahía Ambar is definitely the newest and most modern. Just a couple of days ago I published a comprehensive review about Bahía Principe Luxury Esmeralda. It is the older sister of Ambar, but the services are the same. The hotel review also include a photo of the new Ambar rooms, so you can see it here: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/bahia-principe-luxury-esmeralda-all-inclusive-resort/
On this same review, you can also find a price comparison between different booking websites. Even though it is for Esmeralda, it is pretty similar for Ambar. You can check the current prices for Ambar here: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/recommendation/accommodation-luxury-bahia-principe-ambar/
If you would like to book your hotel and flights together, you can check out the biggest tour operator to Punta Cana here (assuming you are from the US): https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/recommendation/luxury-bahia-principe-ambar-package/
Cheers from Punta Cana
Chris
Thanks for sharing information, we have traveled to many areas in the Caribbean, Belize, Aruba, Grand Caymans, Jamaica, Cancun, Cozumel, Roatan,..always try to get as much info as possible before the trip!
Dear Ann,
thanks for your comment. Great that Punta Cana Travel Blog was helpful for planning your trip to the Caribbean!
Cheers, Chris
My husband and I (70 years old) are looking for a quiet relaxing AI with a nice beach which does not blast music, decent food and not a lot of noise from discos and casinos. We enjoy evening entertainment and a stroll around the resort after dinner. We like nice grounds with gardens and we don’t like big high-rise hotels – preferring resorts with bungalows of 2 or 3 stories. Any suggestions?
Hi Renee,
Grand Bavaro Princess would be a great fit, as it ticks all your boxes. You can check out the extensive review here:
https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/grand-bavaro-princess-all-inclusive-resort/
Alternatively, you can also have a look at Melía, Zoetry Agua or Excellence Punta Cana.
Cheers, Chris
My husband and I are looking to vacation again in Punta Cana… We would love a small resort with swimmable waters. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!
Hi MPV,
you can check out TRS Turquesa, Vista Sol or Excellence Punta Cana – those resorts are all not too big and the ocean is swimmable.
You can also check out this post with a good overview about the different types of all-inclusive resorts: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/how-to-find-the-best-all-inclusive-resort-in-punta-cana/
Cheers, Chris
We are looking to book an all-inclusive vacation for our family of 14 on Bavaro Beach. This would be 8 adults & 6 children. We have been looking at the Royalton Resorts but find it confusing which have the best activities to include little ones, 4 & 6 and older kids, 9,10,12 & 13. Any rcommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Lesley,
Royalton is a very good option for families, but I would definitely recommend Royalton Punta Cana or Royalton Bavaro Diamon Club over Royalton Splash.
Besides this, I would highly recommend checking out the best family resorts in Punta Cana here, where you can find a lot of inspiration including our own experiences: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/best-punta-cana-all-inclusive-family-resorts/
I hope this helps.
Cheers from Punta Cana
Chris
A group of ladies for March 2024 can’t decide on Grand Palladium (one of the 3) or Majestic (one of the 3). Any tips ? Could do Adult only also ?
Hi Lori,
if you would like to choose the best among those 6 resorts, I would recommend you Majestic Mirage (https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/recommendation/accommodation-majestic-mirage/) or Majestic Elegance (https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/recommendation/accommodation-majestic-elegance/).
Cheers from Punta Cana
Chris
Any info on the occidental punta cana resort?trying to book a first time great vacation for myself husband and daughter without breaking the bank but also with no regrets.
Any suggestions?
Hi Alana,
Occidental Punta Cana is one of the cheaper resorts with mixed reviews. I haven’t been there personally, but can highly recommend you this list of the best affordable resorts in Punta Cana, especially when traveling to Punta Cana on a budget: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/best-affordable-all-inclusive-resorts-in-punta-cana/
Cheers from Punta Cana
Chris
Hi Chris
Any recommendations for resort for a group of 13 with adults and kids ranging from 9-18 that has good snorkeling from the beach and a dive shop close by? Even better if it had a lazy river.
Hi Colleen,
there is not much snorkeling in Punta Cana from the beach as you can read here in this article: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/excursions-tours/snorkeling-in-punta-cana/
On the other hand, dive shops can be found in most resorts.
For such a big family with kids of all ages I would definitely recommend checking out this article with the best family resorts in Punta Cana: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/best-punta-cana-all-inclusive-family-resorts/
Among them, Dreams Macao Beach and Hard Rock Punta Cana have a lazy river for example. You can find extensive reviews about both resorts here on the blog.
I hope this helps!
Cheers, Chris
Hi Chris, great website, so glad I found it!
My friend and I are planning to spend 8 nights at a Punta Cana resort. We are in our sixties and prefer a quieter resort. Neither of us drink. Good food is important. We have been to Natura Park a few times and had a great time until the resort became shabby through lack of maintenance. Also the food wasn’t very good. We next tried Majestic Colonial and loved the pool, the beach not so much. Any info on TRS Turquesa Hotel or The Pearl? Might either of those be a good fit for us, in your opinion. Also considering Serenade, Grand Bavaro Princess and Lopesan because of your reviews. Thanks for your help!
Susan
Hi Susan,
thanks for your comment. I’d say that TRS Turquesa is pretty similar to Majestic Colonial in terms of quality, even though they have a different vibe and different characteristics.
Lopesan has a great beach and is in general an amazing resort, but food is good at maximum, not outstanding. Grand Bavaro Princess could work well for you, especially when you take a Platinum Room – but be prepared that the resort is huge (even though you can take the trolley train). You could also try Live Aqua (even though the beach is not perfect), Dreams Flora or Melia Punta Cana Adults Only. Particularly the latter one might tick all your boxes – you can check out the extensive review here: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/melia-punta-cana-beach-resort-all-inclusive/
I hope this helps.
Best regards
Chris
Hi Chris.
Thanks for all the information provided here.
We are a group of 3 girlfriends, and were considering booking a 1 week vacation at the Sunscape Coco Punta Cana for March of 2024, but we are not sure how ready it will be. Some sites say it is opening in November of 2023, others early 2024.
Our other alternative is the Jewel Punta Cana.
Any thoughts or insights you can help us with.
Thanks in advance.
Georgia
Hi Georgia,
if you haven’t booked yet, the solution is easy:
– If you’re worried that Sunscape Coco won’t be ready until you arrive or that processes are not running smooth: don’t book it, book an alternative (here are some other great affordable options: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/best-affordable-all-inclusive-resorts-in-punta-cana/)
– If you would like to enjoy a completely new and renovated resort for a super low price, even though it might have a couple of hiccups: go for it!
I hope this helps!
Chris
Hi Chris,
We are looking to book an all inclusive stay in either the DR, Jamaica, or Antigua. Our challenge – we are a family of 11 (spouses) with only only of our children under 18. Is there a resort that is family friendly with activities that would be fun for the entire family, including our 15 year old? So many cater to either young children or adults only. Thank you!
Amy
Hi Amy,
thanks for your comment.
Of course, there are many resort which cater to a more general crowd, hence they would be perfect for the entire family. I don’t know your budget, but you can definitely check out Royalton Bavaro, any Dreams Resorts (you can find many reviews here on the blog), Hard Rock Punta Cana (review on the blog), Riu Palace Resort (review on the blog) or many other options.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
Chris
We are looking to book an AI adult only resort in Jan 2025. There will be about 10 couples celebrating a 60th birthday. I’ve read so many reviews now that I’m so unsure which resort to book. We are a lively group who like to have a good time, casino would be nice (or resort close to the Hard Rock), good food and drinks, preferably in Bavaro beach area and something that offers accommodations for every price range. We are definitely wanting to upgrade our room and possibly have a butler or special accommodations but not everyone in our party can afford to do that. What are your recommendations?
Hi Kim,
I think there are a couple of wishes that are not very easy to fulfill and it is very likely that there is not THE one resort that meets all the needs. Thinking quickly about what you wrote I would say that a mid-range adults-only all-inclusive resort at Bavaro Beach is what you’re looking for, as this would allow the more budget-conscious people to not spend too much and those who are looking for a more higher-end option to upgrade according to their preferences. Therefore, this article here might be super helpful for you: https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/accommodation-resorts/mid-price-all-adults-all-inclusive-punta-cana/
Apart from that, especially considering you’re a big group, I would highly recommend looking for professional help, as they can take away a lot of your doubts. You can either contact a professional travel agent, book a travel coaching session with me (https://www.puntacanatravelblog.com/travel-coaching/) or I am also happy to connect you to a professional agency in the Dominican Republic that also knows all the resorts.
Feel free to send me an email to puntacanatravelblog (at) gmail (dot) com and I am happy to discuss further options.
I hope this is helpful for you.
Best regards
Chris
